Autumn Brown

Autumn Brown is a mother. She is an organizer, a theologian, a facilitator. She is the interim Executive Director of RECLAIM! RECLAIM! works to increase access to mental and integrative health support for queer and trans youth. She is also a founder for the Common Fire Foundation and currently serves on its board of Directors. The Common Fire Foundation provides basic support for the Beacon Co-Housing community. Autumn Brown has additionally helped found the Rock Dove Collective which is a radical community health exchange.

Autumn does a lot of work in facilitating organizational and strategic development with different community organizations. She works to emphasize consensus process, facilitation and processes to resist racism. She works endlessly as a facilitator to assist in healing from trauma of oppression.

Autumn graduated from Sarah Lawrence College and continued to complete specialized study in Theology at Oxford University. She then attended Seminary at General Theological Seminary of New York.

Most recently, she has been published in Octavia’s Brood: Science Fiction Stories from Social Justice Movements and Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Front Lines.
