Dani McClain

Dani McClain is a journalist that reports on race, reproductive health, policy and politics. McClain is a writer at The Nation and a fellow with the Nation Institute. Her work has also been published in Colorlines, Guernica, and Al Jazeera America. While she was working at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel she reported on education. When she was 7, her mother gave her a journal where she wrote her observations, reflections, and experiences. Professionally, her intent with reporting and writing is to “amplify voices that are too often on the margins in public discourse.”
